Xin Zhao is a fighter jungler. He has one of the best early games in terms of clearing the jungle camps, he has great 1 vs 1 potential vs the enemy jungler and has strong early game ganks that you can utilize to snowball your lanes. He does fall off a bit when you get to the late game because of how easy it is to kite vs Xin Zhao and he doesn't have a lot of ways to get to the backline of the enemies. This is why you need to try and get an early advantage to snowball your lead.
Xin Zhao uses a mixture of both AD and tank items that allow him to deal damage and survive. Black Cleaver is a strong item for Xin Zhao and a core item that you must pick up early on. It gives him all the stats he needs and he works well with the passives. Divine Sunderer is another solid item for Xin Zhao, granting both damage and tank stats. Divine Sunderer's passive effect Spellblade also work nicely with Xin Zhao's abilities, especially Three Talon Strike.
For runes, we have the following:
Xin Zhao is a fighter so he wants to get in the enemies face and attack constantly whilst using his spells. This allows him to get the 6 stacks pretty fast, which means he can deal more damage and get a lot of physical vamp when fully stacked
Xin Zhao will be in a lot of team fights jumping onto the backline to try and kill the enemy carries so dealing extra damage will always help and Xin Zhao restores health every time he gets a takedown.
With Xin Zhao, you will be in a lot of fights and ganking a lot which means you will be getting plenty of takedowns. This allows Xin Zhao to get a bit more health with each takedown to make him that little bit extra tanky.
With Xin Zhao you need the extra movement speed after using a summoner spell so you can get into range to use Audacious Charge to jump on an enemy and deal a lot of damage with Three Talon Strike.
With Xin Zhao, he has a very fast early jungle clear. This means that you can work your way around the jungle really fast and be aggressive when contesting the scuttle crabs in the rivers and getting early ganks off. It is best to start at Red Brambleback as you don't need to worry too much about early mana and you will be healthy enough to get through your jungle without taking too much damage.
This is what the jungle patch would look like:
Below is a beginner's guide for jungle in Wild Rift. It goes in-depth about every jungle camp, epic monsters and more!
Xin Zhao can struggle a lot in the late game. Your best way to go about the late game is trying to get onto the backline in a team fight and trying to knock them up with Three Talon Strike and knocking all other enemies away with Crescent Guard. Your main objective as a jungler is to keep track of when Dragons, Rift Herald and Baron spawn. Taking these epic monsters will give you and your team an advantage in the game. When in a team fight, try your best not to get caught out and try to keep auto-attacking and using your abilities to deal damage.
Xin Zhao is a very easy and beginner-friendly champion to play. He has a lot of damage early game where you can try to get some early ganks off to get an advantage so if you like that sort of playstyle then you will enjoy playing Xin Zhao
