Ornn is a super tanky Baron Lane champion. Not only is Ornn an insane tank that scales to become an unkillable champion, but he also has crowd control in every ability and can still look for solo kills in the Laning Phase. Ornn has a unique passive that allows him to buy and craft items anywhere on the map. This is so effective for Ornn, giving him so much power and item advantage at any point of the game, making him a complete tank.
Ornn can spend gold to buy and forge items anywhere on the map. This means that Ornn doesn't need to return to base during the Laning Phase. If he has enough Health and Mana to stay in the lane, he can forge any item (Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3) and remain in the lane giving him a considerable advantage.
On top of this, Ornn also gains additional bonus Health, Armor and Magic Resist from all sources. So every time Ornn buys tank items, it gives him more stats allowing him to scale and become an unkillable tank in the late game.
Finally, upon reaching Level 7, crafting items near ally champions grants them five stacks of Living Forge, meaning your allies can also benefit from being able to craft items wherever they want on the map. This is more effective for your carries.
Ornn slams the ground, creating a fissure dealing damage and slowing for a few seconds. At the end of the cast, a pillar of rock forms at the fissure's end for a few seconds. The pillar of rock works as a wall meaning he can use Searing Charge to knock up enemy champions nearby.
Volcanic Rupture can also be used at choke points as a zoning tool to stop enemies from crossing paths when taking objectives. If they do step close, use Searing Charge, knock them up and deal a lot of damage.
Ornn stomps forward Unstoppably (blocking crowd control) while breathing fire, dealing max health damage. Enemies hit by the final point of damage become Brittle for a few seconds.
Ornn's attacks against Brittle targets Knock them Back, dealing additional damage, so you want to make sure you auto-attack after using Bellow Breath. Immobilizing effects on Brittle targets have their duration increased and deal additional damage.
Ornn charges, dealing damage. If Ornn rams into terrain, he creates a shockwave that Knocks Up enemies. With this ability, you always want to look to try and knockup enemy champions.
Remember that this knockup works with Volcanic Rupture and other terrains, including Jarvan IV's ultimate. The only time you want to use Searing Charge when not knocking up is to try and escape.
Ornn summons a massive Lava Elemental, which stampedes towards him, dealing damage and applying Brittle for a few seconds. The elemental also slows for a few seconds based on Ornn's level.
Ornn can recast this to dash and headbutt the elemental. If he dashes into the elemental, he redirects and empowers it, causing it to Knock Up enemy champions. Be careful; when you recast, you can miss the headbutt and put yourself in a difficult position.
This ultimate is one of the best ultimates in the game because of its insane damage and crowd control. With this ability, you will be the main initiator for your team.
Ornn is a solo front-line tank that can survive a lot of damage whilst also dealing a lot of damage and crowd-controlling the whole enemy team. Iceborn Gauntlet is a core item for Ornn. It gives him amazing base stats, and the passive help you push minion waves and help you trade more effectively and land your crowd control since the enemies will be slowed. Sunfire Aegis is another perfect item for Ornn. It gives him a bunch of health that you need to survive and does damage to nearby enemies. Most of the time with Ornn, you will use Searing Charge to dash into melee range, meaning he will always be close and deal damage with Sunfire.

With Ornn, you can easily walk up and take trades since you are very tanky and deal a lot of damage. This allows you to stack Grasp easily to get more health and become unkillable.
Font of Life helps Ornn with a bit of Self Heal and some healing for his team. Courage of the Colossus can be another good option if you feel confident hitting Ornn's immobilised abilities.
Second Winds helps Ornn during the laning phase; when he takes a lot of damage, he can go back to the tower and health back a lot of health whilst forging items.
Overgrowth allows Ornn to gain permanent health throughout the game when nearby minions or monsters are killed. So the more Ornn farms, pushes the lane and kills minions, the more Maximum Health he will get.
Demolish works well with Ornn since you can win a lot during the laning phase and take some early tower plates with Demolish. Plus, since Ornn builds a lot of health, Demolish can deal more damage.
Ornn is surprisingly very powerful during the early game. Once you play passive for the first three levels, you can use his combo, deal a lot of damage, and sometimes even solo kill the enemy Baron lane champion. Ornn is the best when grouping with your team, so once the major objectives spawn, look to group with your team and use Call of the Forge God to knock up multiple enemy champions and jump onto the backline with Searing Charge.
Thanks to Ornn's Passive, Living Forge, the more tank items you buy, the tankier and stronger Ornn will get. Not only do you have a great team fight ultimate that can change the game, but you also are tanky and unkillable at this point of the game that you can walk up and take all the damage whilst your team is doing all the damage to them. You want to always stay with your team and try not to get caught out by yourself. You don't do well at all in a one vs one situation, especially against Hullbreaker enemies in the side lane.
Ornn is an easy-to-play super tank that can also turn into an assassin at any time, which is always fun to play. He is also the strongest tank to play in the game right now, so if you want to play an unkillable champion, then Ornn is the right champion for you
