How to play Pantheon

Pantheon is a fighter. He is very strong in the early game being able to trade and fight vs most junglers. As you get into the late game, Pantheon falls off in terms of damage and becomes more of a crowd control champion that helps the team survive. One thing to note is to always keep an eye on your Mortal Will to see how many stacks you have. After 5 stacks, your next basic ability will be enhanced which means they get bonuses.

Pantheon uses a mixture of both damage and tank items that work well with his kit.

For runes, we have the following:

Conqueror

Conqueror increases Pantheon's damage when engaging with his combo. His empowered Shield Vault gives multiple stacks, and Comet Spear benefits from the increased Attack Damage.

Triumph

Triumph heals and gives Pantheon movement speed after he gets a takedown, helping him stay alive and stick to enemies.

Cut Down

Cut Down helps Pantheon deal more damage to tanks and bruisers with high health.

Coup de Grace provides additional damage that helps burst enemies when they are low on health.

Legend: Alacrity

Legend: Alacrity gives Pantheon more attack speed, helping his jungle clear speed and damage during teamfights.

Absolute Focus

Absolute Focus gives Pantheon Attack Damage while he's near full health, increasing his combo damage when he jumps in

Flash

Smite

For summoner spells, Flash is a must on most champions. It's a great spell to get out of a situation or if you are trying to go in for the killing blow.

As a jungler, you always want to take Smite. Smite will help you clear through the jungle quicker and secure major objectives.

Early Game

Late Game

Pantheon really struggles when it gets too late game because he doesn't do the most damage and can be really easy to play against. The best thing you can do at this point is group up with your team using Grand Skyfall at distance to surprise the enemy. When in a team fight your main goal is to get on top of the enemy backline! Use your Shield Vault to lock down one of the enemy's carries so your team can follow up and help kill them.

Overall Pantheon is a super fun champion to play that can join a team fight from miles away. If you want to play a champion that has insane early game damage that you can get an advantage from and then use your semi-global ultimate to help the team then Pantheon is the go-to champion for you.
