Xayah is a dragon lane champion that focuses on attack damage to kill the enemy team. Xayah is not the best in the early game but can cope pretty well in the laning phase. The later the game goes and the more items she gets, the stronger she becomes. This is because of her auto-attacks dealing a bunch of critical damage and if you can stack up enough feathers, your Bladecaller (3rd Ability) can do a lot of damage. When paired with Rakan in the bot lane, you both get some bonuses. You can recall with Rakan at any point and if you use your Deadly Plumage (2nd Ability), you also give Rakan attack speed and movement speed when hitting enemies. This makes Xayah and Rakan a perfect bot lane combo.
Xayah does really well when building attack damage items. She also benefits a lot from attack speed and critical strike chance. Infinity Edge is a great first item for Xayah. This item gives Xayah a lot of attack damage and gives her critical strikes 30% more damage which is what this whole build is based on. After Infinity Edge, Rapid Firecannon and Phantom Dancer work great as they both give attack speed and critical strike chance. Once you build these 3 items you will have 75% critical strike chance and deal a lot of damage.
Onto the runes, we have:
With the high attack speed and long-range, Xayah can get stacks really easily. This allows you to deal even more damage during the game.
The only problem with this build is that there is not a lot of physical vamp to help keep Xayah alive. This is where vampirism comes in to help. As an AD Carry, you will always find yourself getting takedowns which will allow you to get more AD and vamp.
As an AD Carry, you will always find yourself either getting a lot of kills or assists which works really well with this rune. You will gain health each time you get a unique takedown.
A great rune for if you get low in the laning phase and need that extra bit of healing and get some free money.
Xayah is not the best champion in the early game. You can use your Double Daggers (1st Ability) to try and poke down the enemy and/or farm from range. You want to stay as passive as you can and try not to die so you can farm up to get your core items. A nice early game combo that you can use to root the enemies really quickly is Double Daggers + 1 auto-attack, this will give you 3 feathers to recall with Bladecaller (3rd Ability) and if all 3 feathers hit the enemy, they will be rooted so you can get some nice damage off.
Once you reach the late game and have your core items, this is where Xayah can start to become strong and be able to deal a lot of damage. The best tip I can give you is, do not waste your Bladecaller (3rd Ability), stack as many feathers as you can. Also, remember that Featherstorm (Ultimate) can dodge all types of damage and crowd control to keep you alive. It's always best as an AD Carry to stay grouped with your team. You want to stay as far back from the enemies as possible and allow your front line to go in front of you to tank all the damage. Most of the time you are the main damage output, so if you are caught by yourself and die then your team is in really big trouble. Make sure you stay safe at all times.
Xayah has a very high skill gap and can be very hard at times to understand how she works. She is one of my favourite champions! She is a super safe champion and can do a lot of damage in the late game.
