PWay of the Wanderer

Resolve: Moving builds Flow, wich is tracked on Yasuo's resource bar. At max Flow, damage from a champion or monster grants a shield that absorbs 100 damage and lasts 1.5 seconds.

Intent: Yasuo's Critcal Rate is doubled, but his Critical Strike damage is reduced to 180%.

Yasuo converts Critical Rate above 100% into Attack Damge at a rate of 0.4 Attack Damge per 1% Critical Rate.

1Steel Tempest Cooldown: 4 / 4 / 4 / 4

Thrusts forward, dealing 20 / 55 / 90 / 125 (+100% AD) physical damage. Grants a stack of Gathering Storm if the thrust damages an enemy. At 2 stacks, Steel Tempest launches a whirlwind that knocks enemies Airborne.

If tapped during Sweeping Blade's dash, Steel Tempest will strike as a circle.

Steel Tempest is treated as an attack: it can Critically Strike for 80% bonus damage and applies on-hit efects to all units hit. Cooldown and cast time are reduced by Attack Speed.

2Wind Wall Cooldown: 21 / 20 / 19 / 18
Creates a 300 / 400 / 500 / 600 unit wall that blocks all enemy projectiles for 4 seconds.
3Sweeping Blade Cooldown: 1 / 1 / 1 / 1

Dashes through target enemy, dealing 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 (+20% bonus AD + 60% AP) magic damage. Each cast increasesd the next dash's base damage by 25%, up to +50%.

Cannot be re-cast on the same enemy for 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 seconds.

If Steel Tempest is tapped during this dash, it will strike as a circle.

4Last Breath Cooldown: 50 / 40 / 30

Blinks to an Airborne enemy champion, dealing 250 / 400 / 550
(+150% bonus AD) physical damage and holding all Airborne enemies in the area in the air for an additional 1.3 seconds. Grants maximum Flow but resets all stacks of Gathering Storm.

For the next 15 seconds, Critical Strikes gain 30% Armor Penetration.

How to play Yasuo

Yasuo is a mid-lane attack damage assassin. He is a melee champion and can struggle a lot in the early game when trying to walk up and last hit minions. Once you hit level 5 and get Last Breath, you can look to stack your Steel Tempest until you get your tornado. When your tornado is ready, you can look to knock up the enemy to try and get a solo kill or you can roam around the map with his aggressive play style. Yasuo works really well with a team that has knock-ups as you can use your Last Breath on any knock-up that your team does.

Yasuo Build Breakdown.

Immortal Shieldbow
Blade of the Ruined King
Solari Chargeblade
Divine Sunderer
Guardian Angel
Plated Steelcaps - Stasis

Yasuo does really well when you build attack damage. He also benefits a lot from critical strike chance as this stat gets doubled from Way of the Wanderer. Immortal Shieldbow is a core item for Yasuo. The item gives him a lot of great base stats, and the Lifeline passive can save him when dashing in with Sweeping Blade. Solari Chargeblade is another excellent item for Yasuo. The item gives him Critical Strike Chance, Attack Speed and Ability Haste which are all stats that Yasuo needs. Also the passive works well because Yasuo is using his abilities a lot and the damage is more if you critical strike.

For runes, we have the following:

Lethal Tempo

As Yasuo, you will be attacking a lot when dashing in to deal damage, meaning you can stack Lethal Tempo quickly. When Lethal Tempo is fully stacked, you get a massive burst of attack speed that helps Yasuo deal a lot of damage and also reduces the cooldown of Steel Tempest.

Hunter - Vampirism

The extra physical vamp on Yasuo is awesome. It works really well when Yasuo wants to go in and auto-attack and it also works with Steel Tempest.

Bone Plating

Since Yasuo will be dashing in a lot trying to deal damage, he will be a main target for the enemy. Bone plating will help Yasuo take reduced damage from the first three instances of damage which will help him survive longer.

Sweet Tooth

A great rune for when Yasuo is low on health or mana in the laning phase and needs some health or mana from the honey fruit. You also get some free gold.

Flash
Ignite

For summoner spells, Flash is a must on most champions. It's a great spell to get out of a situation or if you are trying to go in for the killing blow. For the 2nd spell, it's best to go for Ignite. This helps Yasuo to get an early advantage in the laning phase and helps him deal extra damage.

Early Game

Yasuo struggles a bit in the early game as a melee champion. Most of the time you want to stay back and wait for the enemy champion to push the minion wave under your tower. You can walk up to minions early on when you have your Way of the Wanderer shield up and available so you don't take damage to your health. Once you hit Level 5, this is where you can potentially look for the all-in and try and kill the enemy mid-lane. If you can't find the opportunity in the mid lane, you can try to roam around the map and use your Ultimate in the side lanes.

Late Game

When you reach the mid and late game and get a few items, this is where Yasuo can start to become useful since you have quite a lot of mobility and crowd control. When you are grouped with your team and about to have a team fight, the best thing you want to do is get to their backline where you can kill the enemy carries. Always keep an eye on your teammates, especially ones that have a knock-up as you can follow it up with your Ultimate. You can also use your Wind Wall to block damage and abilities to help you and your team.

Conclusion

Overall Yasuo is a very fun and mobile champion to play with the ability to out-play the enemy team and win the fight with some insane combos and knock-ups. At times it might be difficult to play Yasuo as he has a high skill gap but once you practice him a few times you can carry.
