Nidalee is one of the most unique and versatile champions in Wild Rift, known for her hybrid playstyle that blends ranged poke, high mobility and burst assassination. As a shapeshifting assassin, Nidalee can snipe enemies from afar with her spears in Human Form, then dive in with Cougar Form to finish the job before they have time to react.

Nidalee starts the game with a rank in her Ultimate Aspect of the Cougar allowing her to switch between Human and Cougar form early on.
Nidalee gains movement speed in brushes; this increases while moving toward enemy champions. This movement speed helps Nidalee get in range to jump in with Pounce to finish off enemy champions.
Hitting an enemy champion or monster with Javelin Toss or Bushwhack marks them as Hunted for a few seconds. While an enemy is Hunted, they are revealed and Nidalee gains movement speed—the two movement speed bonuses stack, giving Nidalee incredible chase potential.
Human Javelin Toss - Nidalee throws her javelin, dealing magic damage; the damage is increased based on the distance flown. Hitting Nidalee's javelin is crucial to her playstyle and helps her execute enemy champions. If you miss Nidalee's spear, don't jump in; wait a few seconds and try again.
Cougar Takedown - Nidalee's next attack deals magic damage increased based on the target's missing health. If an enemy is hunted, Takedown deals increased damage. When performing Nidalee's combo you always want to finish enemies off with Takedown at the end of the combo to deal more damage.
Human Bushwhack - Nidalee places an invisible trap for a few seconds. When an enemy walks over it they are revealed and dealt magic damage per second for a few seconds. These traps can be used at choke points around objectives, making it difficult for enemies to cross certain areas. This also creates distance so you have better opportunities to hit Nidalee's javelin's.
Cougar Pounce - Nidalee pounces toward a target location dealing magic damage to enemies in the area she lands. Killing an enemy in Cougar Form or using this ability on a Hunted target reduces its cooldown. Pounce is core to Nidalee's gameplay. Hitting a javelin makes it so Nidalee can pounce further and deal a crazy amount of damage. Pounce can also be used to escape by pouncing over walls.
Human Primal Surge - Nidalee restores health to herself or an ally champion, this healing is increased based on their missing health and grants them attack speed for a few seconds. You can use Primal Surge before pouncing in to get more attack speed in Cougar form increasing your damage with your combo.
Cougar (3) Swipe - Nidalee Claws at enemies in front of her dealing magic damage.
Nidalee can transform between Human and Cougar form every few seconds, making her a versatile champion to suit any needs. While in Human Form, applying Hunted refreshes Aspect of the Cougars cooldown so Nidalee can quickly change to Cougar form after hitting a Javelin.
While in Cougar Form, Nidalee's basic ability damage scales with Aspect's ability rank and she gains Armor and Magic Resist.

Lich Bane synergizes well with Nidalee's playstyle. When you hit a javelin and jump in with Cougar form, your next basic attack with Takedown will deal a crazy amount of damage.
Infinity Orb helps Nidalee deal bonus damage to enemies that are low on health. Infinity Orb combos incredibly well with Nidalee's Takedown, which also does increased damage to low-health enemies.
Rabadon's Deathcap gives Nidalee a massive boost of Ability Power, which scales incredibly well into the mid/late game. Deathcap is essential to have in your build to increase Nidalee's burst damage.
For runes we have:
Dark Harvest helps Nidalee deal a small burst of damage when enemies drop low on health. This can be stacked in the early game to increase the damage later on helping with Nidalee's snowball effect.
Sudden Impact works with Pounce and allows Nidalee to deal true damage with her other abilities, helping her burst damage potential.
Tyrant synergizes well with Dark Harvest. Both Tyrant and Dark Harvest will deal damage to low-health enemies, giving Nidalee insane burst damage.
Eyeball Collector gives Nidalee more Ability Power every time she gets a takedown. If you can get kills early on to stack Dark Harvest and get more Ability Power from Eyeball, it becomes incredibly difficult for enemies to come back.
Overgrowth gives Nidalee much-needed health every time she kills a jungle monster, giving you more survivability when she pounces into fights.

Nidalee is an aggressive early-game jungler who wants to take advantage of her early damage by stacking Dark Harvest and ganking as much as possible to snowball an early lead. Nidalee has incredible mobility with Pounce to get around the map more quickly and to sneak out of enemy vision, putting her in positions to surprise enemies.
Nidalee always wants to start Blue Sentinel. The extra mana regeneration will help her early clear speed, and the pathing route is most suitable to try to contest the first scuttle crab.
This is what the jungle path would look like:
1. Blue Sentinel
2. Gromp
3. Wolves
4. Raptors
5. Red Brambleback
6. Krugs
Below is a beginner's guide for Jungle in Wild Rift. It goes in-depth into jungle clearing, epic monsters, ganking, and more!

Nidalee's late game is all about positioning. You are not a front line tank or bruiser you want to be sitting on the back line throwing your Javelins to try and hit a high value target. When you hit a target you think you can kill, you can change to Cougar Form to Pounce in and kill an enemy, giving your team a huge advantage. However one wrong Pounce could lead to your death.
As a jungler, it's important to always keep track of when Dragon, Herald and Baron spawns. Taking these epic monsters will give you and your team an advantage throughout the game.

Overall, Nidalee is a fun and engaging champion to play. With a versatile playstyle and 2 different forms, the possibilities are endless. She has a very high skill ceiling, and knowing when to pounce—and when not to—will be crucial.
