Norra's Abilities

PBeloved Trinkets

Trinket: Every 21 seconds, her next ability cast leaves a Trinket on the battlefield for 4 seconds.

When touched by an enemy champion, the Trinket activates and fires magical energy at the target, dealing 20 (+20% AP) magic damage. Hitting champions with basic abilities reduces this ability's cooldown by 20% of the maximum cooldown.

1Memory Surge
Cooldown: 7 / 6 / 5 / 4
Cost: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65

Passive: Deals 1% - 2.5% of the target's max Health as bonus magic damage to enemies enlarged by Threads.

Hold (Active): Gathers memories, slowing herself by 20%. If she continues charging after reaching full charge, the slow increases to 30% and she teleports backward for a short distance after firing.

Release (Active): Unleashes the memories she gathered, charging and firing a magic bolt in the target direction. The magic bolt stops when it hits an enemy champion, dealing 60 / 120 / 180 / 240 (+60% AP) magic damage to them and enemies nearby.

While Charging: Norra can choose a direction to fire the bolt in; The bolt's range increases with charge duration; The bolt's damage increases with charge duration, up to 140% bonus (deals max 84 damage); When fully charged, Norra activates all nearby Trinkets to fire at the first champion hit by the bolt.

2Journey to Nowhere
Cooldown: 18 / 16 / 15 / 13
Cost: 75 / 80 / 85 / 90

Creates a circular magic portal in a target location, dealing 75 / 115 / 155 / 195 (+40% AP) magic damage to all enemies within and sending them to another dimension for 2.25 seconds.

Enemies in the other dimension: Cannot attack or use abilities, but can move and are slowed by 80%.

Enemies are returned to their original location after 2.25 seconds.

3Threads of Homecoming
Cooldown: 12 / 10 / 9 / 7
Cost: 65 / 65 / 65 / 65

Passive: When a Trinket damages its target, it applies a Thread.

Active: Conjures a portal on each end of a horizontal target area. After a delay, the portals fire interweaving Threads, dealing 70 / 120 / 170 / 220 (+60% AP) magic damage and applying Threads to all enemies caught in between.

Targets marked with Threads: Have their hitbox size increased by 4 seconds and are slowed by 20% for 2 seconds.

Deals 115% damage to monsters and minions.

4Portalpalooza!
Cooldown: 105 / 95 / 95
Cost: 100 / 100 / 100

Creates a large teleportation magic circle, encircling all units caught within. Swiping from one edge of the circle to another.

Conjures a portal at both ends, firing a magic bolt from end to end. Norra can do this up to 4 times. The magic bolt slows the first enemy champion by 80% for 0.5 seconds and deals 100 / 150 / 200 (+60% AP) magic damage to all enemies along its path.

The fourth magic bolt deals 40% bonus magic damage.

How to play Norra


Norra is an artillery mage who can play in the Mid Lane. Norra has high, consistent damage output thanks to her long-range abilities. With Norra, you'll be able to poke throughout the game reliably, and once you have a few items, you can start to one-shot high-value targets on the enemy team. However, even though Norra has a lot of consistent damage, all of her abilities are skillshots. If you can't hit them, you won't deal any damage. With no in-built escapes, Norra can die super easily. If you get hit by any crowd control or if an assassin gets on top of you, you will die very quickly.

Beloved Trinkets
(Passive)

Every few seconds, Norra's next basic ability will spawn a trinket on the ground, which persists for a few seconds. When an enemy touches the trinket, it activates and fires a magic bolt at the target, dealing damage.

Memory Surge
(1)

Norra charges a long-ranged skillshot that slows herself while channelling. Once fully charged, you can continue to hold, but the slow will increase. When released, Norra fires a magic bolt in a target direction. The bolt stops when it hits the first enemy, dealing damage. The bolt's damage increases over the channel duration. At full charge, all trinkets on the ground will hit the target and deal more damage.

Norra can freely adjust the direction and the bolt's range increases over the channel duration. Norra will also slightly dash backwards when Norra fully charges.

Journey to Nowhere
(2)

Reveal a teleport gate on the ground in a circular area, dealing magic damage to all enemies within the area and banishing them to another dimension for a few seconds.

While banished, the enemy cannot attack or cast abilities, but can still move. After a few seconds, affected targets are returned to their location via the teleport gate.

Threads of Homecoming
(3)

Passive: When a trinket from Norra's Passive deals damage to a target, it applies a Mark to them. Enemies marked are slowed for a few seconds, and their hit box is increased.

Active: Norra reveal's a horizontal teleport gate on both sides of the targeted area. After a brief delay, the gates fire inward, dealing magic damage, and all enemies hit apply a mark proc'ing the Ability 3 passive.

Portalpalooza!
(Ultimate)

Norra summons a large circle teleportation array that covers all units within its area. By dragging your fingers within the array, you may choose 2 different locations with a swipe.

For each chosen direction, a teleport gate appears at both ends, and a magic projectile is fired between the gates. The projectile deals damage to all enemies hit and slows them for under a second.
